An apology

Taking my cue from Kevin Rudd, the Australian PM, I would like to apologise on behalf of Western Christendom for our failure to come to the aid of Constantinople back in 1453. There were other things happening, us and the French weren't getting on too well, which kind of took our eye off the ball vis a vis Johnny Turk, but... for what it's worth... sorry.
