Just finished listening to Anne Clywd's testimony. Very very moving testimony from a woman of substance, with a profound knowledge of Iraq over the last few decades. I only WISH this information had been covered in any small way by our disgusting press up to the war. The Not in My Name brigade ought to be thoroughly ashamed of themselves. Naturally Ms Clywd's testimony garnered precisely zero media interest.
Funny how people's impressions are so different. I thought she came over as very honest and straightforward.
I very much doubt that the not in my name brigade are feeling shame, nor should they, except for our failure to bring Blair and his cronies to book.
They should feel utter shame for the placard "Not in MY Name". What was not supposed to have been in their name? The most disgusting atrocities committed post war to a people presumably would be in their name. I for one cannot love with that level of contempt. I listened to Ann Clywds testimony about young boys being crucified to door frames under Saddams regime and people having their blood drained from their bodies, young children even, before they were murdered by the state in secret and the only thing I feel anger at is that we did not intervene sooner.

Funny how that anger seems to vanish like smoke when any crimes committed by the occupiers are mentioned.
