MOD: the disgrace and the shame continues

The civil servants of the Ministry of Defence will be clinking glasses and toasting victory today, as the Appeal Court has handed down the verdict they wanted, and ruled against nine out of ten cases brought by veterans of the atomic bomb tests conducted in the 1950s.

I can only reiterate my previous comments, that the shameful treatment of these veterans shows very starkly what value the British state places on the lives of servicemen. These hypocrites put on sombre expressions and wear poppies for Remembrance Day, but it's nothing but show.
"Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness."
Matthew 23:27
