Monbiot: climate change is over

... Well, in a manner of speaking. You see, 'climate change' isn't alarmist enough for George, it doesn't have the power to produce a pavlovian panic in those who hear the term. Thus it is necessary to change the rhetoric for something more hard-hitting. He suggests "climate breakdown" and asks his readers to suggest something better. How about "climate bollocks", George?

This is not the only time I have seen the global warming cultists mithering over language. There was recent hot debate over the use of 'climate deniers'. As ever, language is being selected to obscure thought and preclude open debate - an ever-growing imperative, as the scientific 'consensus' collapses.
