Hague lies again on EU referendum

Via UKK41, I come across that snake William Hague, just back from hanging out with the Syria Coup Committee, lying through his teeth, desperately trying to string along his poor, deluded party on the subject of the EU.

I wonder what tories think of this man, who was once one of their favourite sons. Ain't you bored with the lies, tories? Ain't you tired with being treated like a bunch of fucking idiots?

My message to Hague is thus:

MP in expenses scandal; in other news bear shits in woods

I can't be arsed to even raise an eyebrow to the latest candidate for the stocks on Westminster Green, Baroness Warsi.

I don't really care.

What does anyone expect?

Can we, peradventure, quit imagining politicians to be any better than us, recognise that they are not, and stop putting so much power into their hands?

The advantage with this would be that we could return to what we are biologically supposed to be: ADULTS!

Austerity Tory Style: £250 million handed over to biotech buddies

The next time a Tory claims they support capitalism and free trade, could you please point them towards this article at the Ministry of Truth, wherein the government hands over £250 million to the biotech industry.

I wouldn't mind so much if they were honest to themselves and came out and told us straight that they hate capitalism and actually prefer a centrally-planned economy. At least then we'd all understand each other. They could accept what they are: collectivist, authoritarian scum, and I could attack them on this basis, without having first to explain what the fuck free trade and capitalism ain't - such as socialising the costs of biotech companies, producing 'food' no one in their right mind would eat, all the while telling us we should work harder and pay more taxes. You greedy, robbing parasites.

Mr Willetts said ministers had a key role to play in working with business, researchers to support innovation and ensure its commercial success...

He said: "It is what they do not just in Germany or South Korea but in the USA too. We should not let myths about free market America inhibit us from doing the same here."

Pardon the language, but WHAT A CUNT. What risk is this piece of trash taking? He's giving away our money! As for 'myths about free market America', that's not paper-thin, that's air. I have no doubt that America is descending into a fascist police state, run by criminals, but that hardly justifies following suit.

If Willetts wants to take a risk, may I suggest Russian roulette.

Britain is launching a battle against EU plans to force the government to allow non-Europeans a benefit allowance.

They have been angered by an EU proposal to sign a deal with Turkey without Britain’s agreement, which could mean Turkish citizens’ would gain access to the UK welfare system.

Chris Grayling, the employment minister, has told British officials in Brussels to argue against the plans later this month, which encroach further on British sovereignty.

How pathetic. "Britain" is most certainly not launching a battle against EU plans. The crooked Tory government can mouth off as much as it likes. The only power Brussels has is the power that the British government willingly gave them, and if Chris Grayling thinks that the 'British' officials in Brussels are going to do his bidding, he's naive to say the least. Seeing as the British government considers anyone who opposes EU membership as a 'fruitcake' or 'closet racist', why don't they openly embrace their willing servitude and shut the fuck up with the faux-whining.

Tory betrayal moves from tragedy to farce

My fellow bloggers Autonomous Mind, Calling England and The Quiet Man have all covered this, and no doubt many others too, once they've pinched themselves, checked the date-line isn't 1st April and quickly moved through various emotional stages of disbelief, consternation and rage, before settling down to comment of the latest abomination to issue from the Save-The-Planet-Nazi section of the political establishment.

The plan itself, which involves the state preventing people replacing their household boilers or undertaking home improvements unless they hand over additional money for 'green improvements', such as additional insulation or whatever else these delusional regulatory fetishists deem appropriate.

It is, I would say, very clearly not the work of the current government, by which I mean that collection of jostling egos at Westminster, but rather the permanent government which we rarely see - the zealous control-freaks who festoon the ministries, who never need face the people, who take their orders not from us but from the next highest lacky in their insulated demi-monde. Certainly the hand of EU can be seen, no doubt with the usual mailed glove of British government 'gold-plating' - the term used to euphemise taking ludicrous rules from Brussels and amplifying them to show additional contempt for the people of this country.

My advice to the Tory MPs; go back and read a few of the statements you made in opposition. Refamiliarise yourself with the image you then wished to portray. Note the references you no doubt made to small government, reducing bureaucracy, standing up to Brussels, even, some of you, individual liberty, because it is such phrases as these which will be your indictment and, hopefully, your epitaph.

It's the faux-moralistic tone that grates

According to reports, David Cameron is calling for minimum alcohol price legislation. This will apparently claw in additional loot to the Treasury of £70 million, which is reason enough for the greedy scum to want to do it, but it's the pretence that this is to help us poor, miserable sinners, to protect us from ourselves in the face of a drinking epidemic that doesn't exist, that sticks in the craw.

A Whitehall source told [the Telegraph]: "The Prime Minister has decided that when it comes to alcohol, something pretty radical now has to be done and he is keen on the minimum price.

Be honest, you thieving fucker, you want more money, you want to dip your sticky fingers into the pockets and purses of the public. You can't possibly stack up a factually-based case that we're drinking more, because we aren't, whatever photos of comatose girls and pools of vomit the Daily Mail can provide.

Maybe it's just a plan to make the EU look good.

Clegg, in desperation, calls adversaries 'xenophobes'

Dear Mr Clegg,

I wish to take issue with your labeling of those who call for a return to national independence and democratically-accountable government in this country as 'xenophobes'.

It is not at all the case that the desire to reassert our sovereignty is motivated by a fear or hatred of foreigners. Even if such sentiments were to be found, they would not negate the legitimate wish for liberty. I do not believe you would make the same ad hominem argument with regard to the desire of the people of Britain's former colonies to gain their independence from Britain, or of those living in the countries of central and eastern Europe under the dominance of the old Soviet Union to shake off that yoke.

Furthermore, one of the main arguments for leaving the EU is so that we will be open to the world, rather than imprisoned within a trade bloc, which, although comprising a number of different nations, is essentially following a model of economic nationalism.

It is also disingenuous, to say the least, to claim that the desire to have a government that is accountable to the people inhabiting this country, in preference to an unaccountable government with its seat of power in a foreign country, is based on an irrational fear, as is inherent in the term xenophobia.

These principles of democratic accountability are ones which you would claim to believe in, indeed you even have the word 'democratic' in your party's title! Sadly, your actions and the policies you espouse run utterly counter to these principles, and as the autocratic nature of the Brussels state becomes ever-clearer, the contrast between high-flown rhetoric and reality also becomes increasingly evident.

The debate you, and the other politicians and bureaucrats who favour the rule of Brussels, have strenuously tried to suppress, partly through the use of such inflammatory language to demonise your adversaries, is now taking place. If you wish to preserve the Brussels state, you will need better arguments than the ones you have used to date.

Now f*** off.

Nick Clegg: stop deluding yourself, you are no liberal

How dare Nick Clegg claim to have anything to do with the liberal tradition? Indeed, how dare his stinking party even use the word in their title? Why can't they admit what they are?

The closest term, I would say, is Fabian Socialists. Admittedly, they don't call for disabled people to be gassed, as the earlier Fabians did, but everything else the Fabians stand for is embraced by Nick Clegg and his band.

Can anyone think of a policy of state-control that the falsely-named Liberal Democratic Party does not support? Is it not in fact the case that they champion paternalistic welfarism and creepy control-freakery at every turn?

To their credit, the Lib Dems have shown a scattering of sense in recent years, with ID cards and the like, but these echoes of the liberal tradition seem incongruous now. What a shame the few true liberals who remain do not separate themselves and thereby save their souls from political damnation.

(N.B. I am not prepared to surrender the word 'liberal' to the enemies of liberty. Americans may use it as a synonym for socialist - but they shouldn't!)

Mystic Mike: mate, your crystal ball needs polishing

Apparently we're going to join the Euro after all. Michael Heseltine said so. I'm not quite sure why he thinks this or if he indeed does actually think this. It sounds like desperate wishful thinking, but what I resent is the condescension:

"People have no idea of the scale of money British banks are owed by European banks. If the European banks start going it will be our banks that are on the line, our government on the line."

Personally, if he's trying to scare me, he better try harder. Our government on the line? Cool. Fuck 'em. Who needs that bunch of chisling crooks anyway? Put the Duke of Edinburgh in charge for a while. At least he may sort out the looming energy crisis.

EU arrest warrant exposes authoritarian agenda behind Brussels ... again

The story of a British woman arrested and held by German authorities for two weeks is just another example of many why ordinary people should despise the Brussels regime and all who serve it (e.g. David Cameron, Nick Clegg, Ed Miliband etc.)

Our rights and liberties are not the gift of the state. They pre-exist any state. Indeed they furnish the only justification that a state has to exist in the first place. Nonetheless, states have always sought to deprive us of these rights and liberties, as they hold back the illicit privileges of those who use the state for their own private benefit gain.

European integration is happening at one level above all; the level of authoritarian jackboot-lickers, who want to use modern technology to track and trace us, all the better to prey upon us, shake us down and abuse us for their sadistic pleasures.

The main parties are dominated by traitors who serve Brussels. No hope of change lies with them. Members and supporters of the main parties have a lot to answer for - they are the enablers, who through their lazy tribal loyalty, are sitting on their hands while the crooks are taking what's left of our birthright.

Nick Clegg: Truth Inverted

Interviewed on BBC Radio 4 this morning, Nick Clegg, Deputy Traitor, was explaining all about his pet 'fund for growth', a fat wedge of our money, stolen by the state, which he's doling out to businesses, as a means to wean them off the government teat. How handing them tax-payers' money will encourage them to be less dependent on tax-payers' money is not immediately clear. I guess I need to wave a Keynesian wand and utter the magical words "economic fallacy" and it will be thus.

He also chose to trot out a series of ludicrous statements on why this country needs to remain enslaved by Brussels. Apparently it's a form of isolation when you have a functioning democracy in a sovereign state and all the rest of the EU would immediately launch a trade war if we left. He didn't say this last part outright, but it is the constant implication. X million jobs depend on trade with the EU, which would immediately be in jeopardy if we had our independence back.

This is not a weak argument. It is an absurdity masquerading as a weak argument, and it needs to be shot on sight, whenever it pokes its head above the parapet. The pro-Brussels traitors have nothing to justify our enslavement but fear of a big bad world, once we stop allowing Manuel Barroso, Herman van Rompuy and (God help us) Cathy Ashton run our government and return to democracy.

Bring it on.

Nick Clegg: Little Caesar

It's long been noted that the Liberal Democratic Party is a grating misnomer, as it is neither liberal nor democratic, and nothing illustrates this more than its current gauleiter, Nick Clegg.

Writing in the Observer, Nick Clegg reveals the underlying anti-liberal, anti-democratic foundation of his worldview.

Firstly, he believes that the economy must be managed by central planning, especially European central planning. It is unthinkable to him that the economy does not need the guiding hands of kleptocratic meddlers of the statist kind. The 'plan for growth' which the politicos are struggling to find, is simple: stop stealing so much money from us. If the state was not plundering the economy, it would grow, but the economy is like a horse which has been bled almost dry. No wonder it can hardly pull the plough.

Secondly, he writes always in the first person plural, but who is this "we"? It is the government. It is not the people. He knows the people do not support the government's agenda. When he writes: " We will not give up the influence that benefits the British people," he neglects to tag on the truth, which would run: "despite the fact that these same British people are set against our policy regarding the EU, and don't believe such benefits exist at all, and that I am a lying piece of trash with no credibility."

Clegg, as mouthpiece of the Establishment, likes to present his position as 'moderate', against two 'extremes'. This is pure rhetoric. If about half the nation wants to leave the EU, then it is hardly extreme.

Joke of the week: William Hague

I love this line:

"Hague warned fellow eurosceptic Conservative MPs against voting for a referendum in a backbench debate taking place on Monday..."

That says all you need to know about 'euroscepticism'. It is in favour of Britain's membership of the EU, and against letting the people have any say in the matter.

As with a number of prominent Tories, Hague is telling us to forget what he said in the past, and listen to him now.

As for the Tories calling for renegotiation, they are either idiots or knaves. There will be no renegotiation, as everyone who takes an interest knows.

What I find amusing is all the nonsense about imposing the whip. So what? If you, as an MP, obey the whip over your conscience, you have no place in Parliament.

Does anyone believe the ridiculous story the US regime is putting about, concerning Iran and an assassination plot?

I guess the hawks are getting desperate to attack Iran. The bit I like is the tie-in with one of the Mexican drug gangs which the DoJ has been caught shipping weapons to, some of which have been used to kill US cops and border guards (look up 'Operation Fast and Furious').

Leaving aside the 'pot calling the kettle black' aspect - Obama claims a right to assassinate American citizens in foreign countries - Iran has no reason to get involved in such a crack-pot conspiracy. That's not to say they're a great bunch of guys, but they're not crazy.

My advice to John Major: keep your mouth shut about the EU

According to the Mail:

The UK could use the eurozone crisis as an opportunity to grab back powers from Europe, Sir John Major has suggested.

The former prime minister said that any new treaty drawn up in its wake would allow Britain to renegotiate its relationship with Brussels - particularly on employment issues.

And he claimed it was likely that Europe was heading towards a 'federal state within the eurozone' as leaders try to find a resolution for the current crisis.

Is this the same John Major who brought us into ever-closer union via the Maastricht Treaty? So it is. You'd think he'd have the good sense to shut the fuck up about the EU, unless it was to offer the British people an abject apology for what his EU-fanatic administration did to us. Continuing, like he's just arrived from a parallel universe where he didn't do the exact opposite of what he is now reported as saying:

'I think it gives an opportunity for two things. Firstly it gives us an opportunity to negotiate for the looser form of Europe that I would have liked to have seen in the 1990s.

'I think there are some areas that are worth looking. Fishing is one. I think there are some elements of employment law.... things like the working time directive, which I think is a very foolish piece of legislation - we could look at repatriating part of it.'

A group was formed last month by new-intake Tories to put pressure on the leadership to weaken ties with Brussels.

Ah yes, the group of 'Euro-realist' Tories, formed with the intention of providing a decoy, while the leadership bundle what's left of our nation's sovereignty into tea crates for shipping over to Brussels.

There will be no renegotiation. There never can be a renegotiation. The only reason anyone (who understands EU politics) ever mentions renegotiation is to make the pro-sovereignty people sit remain calm until we are safely gobbled down and tucked away in the belly of the Brussels beast.

Oh, let's have a mature debate

Just listening to some hooray henry tory turd on the radio saying 'let's have a mature debate' about Britain's imprisonment within the EU. What he meant was 'you can talk about it, if you wish, just as long as you accept that our membership cannot be questioned'. Oh, how generous! Really? You're sure? We wouldn't want cause any trouble, now. The very larst thing we'd want is to cause any friction in Cottager Heath's old party.

I wish I knew a Tory, just so I could goad them about their treasonous sell-out party, but they're so rare these days, I wouldn't know where to find one.

The only ruthlessness I see in the Tories is the by-product of the cynicism passively pervading all the major parties.

Helmer: no goat like a Judas goat

Helmer: it's a dirty job, but somebody's got to do it

My post below of the Tony Benn interview on the EU came about tangentially from reading and commenting chez Autonomous Mind who, over a troika of posts, has been engaged in a dispute with Tory MEP Roger Helmer.

Although I do prefer political types like Helmer who are at least prepared to argue with the commoners, he should not be surprised to meet with the hostility and cynicism which he has done in the comment section, because this is what he deserves. If he wishes to wear the blue rosette, then he will be treated as a representative of the party above all others which has betrayed this country to the EU.

My views of Tory 'euroscepticism' are made clear here, here and here. I find it a contemptible political stand-point which is essentially indivisible from the willing Euro-lapdogs, and in some ways worse. Whereas the EU supporters' message to their side is 'come on, everyone, the EU is great!', the 'eurosceptic' message aims at shutting up vocal opposition to Britain's membership of the EU, and trusting for our redemption to a furtive band of brothers within Tory party ranks, who are, we are led to believe, about to spring into action.

We are being led off into bondage. Helmer and his ilk are telling us: "Don't resist, now is not the moment, wait for the signal". But with every prevarication, our captivity is more assured. The gates of the prison camp loom ever nearer. We, who love our country and desire to rescue its sovereignty, must sadly conclude that the 'eurosceptics', whether wittingly or unwittingly, through folly, cowardice or malice, are no more than Judas goats.

I hope to be proven wrong, and one of my motives in attacking them is to sting their conscience, but make no mistake: they deserve our vilification.
