Here's some bollocks, as if we haven't got enough already:

Utter shite. I am not playing such silly games. I am not going to be ashamed of the colour of my skin. So, Unfair Campaign, take all your hand-wringing anti-white racism and self-hate and suppositise it.

Now they've gone, have a little ponder on the actual message. It says that it is a privilege you are not immediately treated with suspicion and fear, and that it is therefore 'unfair' (no doubt also ungood).

The problem will be solved when our society totally fractures and breaks apart, as we will all be in the same sewer. Also, consider these messages: white people hate black people and always will. Don't trust whitey! White people: you are racists and nothing you can say or do will change it. You should hate yourselves. Black people: There's nothing you can do to be accepted or to fit in, so you might as well make no effort to do so.

Babies, incubators and war propaganda

There's something strangely familiar about this piece of news carried by The Independent:

As many as 18 premature babies, all of whom were being kept alive on generators, were reportedly killed after power was cut to Homs’ Al-Walid hospital. “The families were there when it happened,” said Mahmoud Araby, a 25-year-old student who was among dozens of families sheltering inside a wedding hall when they heard the news. “We were so angry and disgusted.” State TV denied the incident, claiming all hospitals in the area were functioning as normal.

Of course, I'm thinking of the Big Lie used to gee up the American public for the first Gulf War, that Iraqi troops were throwing babies out of incubators in Kuwaiti hospitals. It never happened, but it worked a treat. With that idea fixed in everyone's mind, the Iraqi conscript was effectively dehumanised, and could then be killed without a pangs of conscience.

Whatever is happening in Syria right now, we the public have no real idea. We certainly cannot trust the establishment media to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. It would be more sensible to start with a default position of deep scepticism. There is no doubt that powerful interests want Assad toppled, and other powerful interests want to keep him in power. The former have an MO which includes funding terrorists and using establishment media to diseminate black propaganda. Both sides are prepared to stoop to brutality. Let us not allow this country to be dragged into yet another foreign adventure, nor should we close our eyes to this elements sheltered under the wings of our own state who have a long track record in the dark arts of espionage and terrorism.

The BBC's black-out of Ron Paul's campaign: part 94

Listening to Radio 4 news this morning, I noted a story on the unfolding tragedy of Mexico's drug war. It ended with the hack journo mentioning that the Mexican President had even hinted at legalising drugs as a solution, but it was unlikely to be a topic of debate in the next Mexican presidential elections, let alone in the the US presidential elections.

Of course, it already has been raised. Ron Paul has long made his position clear that drugs should be legalised and has made the argument forcefully. But the BBC will never mention his name. They don't want to confuse the British public by discussing a Republican who stands for peace, free trade, liberty and an end to US imperialism.

Fortunately the BBC no longer has such a grip on information. Gatekeeper it remains, but the wall is breached.

The fair and balanced BBC

From today's Telegraph we learn that:

Anti-fluoride campaigners take to High Court

Campaigners have mounted a High Court bid to prevent fluoride being added to their water without their consent because they are concerned over its health consequences

They say they will have "no choice" but to drink fluoridated water if South Central Strategic Health Authority (SCSHA) is allowed to add it.

The potential side-effects, they argue, range from bone cancer to thyroid problems and dental fluorosis, brown spots on the teeth.

SCSHA wants to add the chemical to supplies in Southampton and parts of south west Hampshire, arguing it is the best way to cut tooth decay, particularly in poorer children.

The story was also covered on BBC Radio 4's Today Show, known for its forthright, combative style, right? Not in this case. Rather than follow the usual procedure of inviting two guests on to represent both sides of a controversy, they just got one guest from the pro-sodium fluoride in the water side and asked him a few softball questions.

Yet again, I feel proud that I don't have a television and pay their stinking licence.

I blame The Beatles

When the Manson Family went on their murderous spree, they were influenced by The Beatles' track 'Helter Skelter' which had been used by the supposedly lovable moptops to pass on information of the coming race war to Charlie and co. and calling on them to get the whole thing started. Clearly The Beatles should have been in the dock alongside Family members.

Meanwhile, over in America a Senator has been shot by a crazy leftist. It's obviously those Tea Party people who are to blame.

Mike Sergeant:- BBC numpty

Fuck me. There are a number of explanations for the above:

A) Mike Sergeant, notwithstanding his well-salaried position at one of the foremost media corporations in the world, is an ignorant cunt, who really doesn't know what the L word means.

or

B) Mike Sergeant, working for the foremost state propaganda outfit in the world, is using the L word in order to tarnish it by association with an unpopular rightwing oligarch. It is imperative for the statists to make sure that the people do not see the present economic hardships as the inevitable and foreseen results of massive state intervention, but rather something to do with evil capitalists and too much economic freedom.

or

C) A combination of the two.

There is scant evidence that Murdoch is a libertarian, and much to the contrary, if his media outlets are anything to go by. Even in the speech that is the subject of the BBC's propaganda bulletin, he blots his credentials thus:

Mr Murdoch, whose News Corporation owns the Times, the Sun and Sky News, among other media outlets, also said a free society needed an independent press, adding it would "serve the interests of the powerful if professional journalists were muted, or replaced as navigators in our society by bloggers and bloviators"

I've no idea what a 'bloviator' is, but the message underlying this is not one of freedom, I smell a protectionist! It has been well-noted that some of the foremost enemies of capitalism are plutocrats such as Murdoch. The last thing they really want is free competition. Hence the key role of the big corporations in lobbying for regulations.

State-run propaganda operation BBC knows how to soft sell. Within a report in today's Radio 4 news at 10 p.m. about a recent treaty between 170 countries to ban the use of additives in tobacco, I heard:

"Some important countries have agreed to the ban, including the USA, China and the EU."

That's right, in the BBC matrix, the EU is a country. That's how the scat-feasters of Brussels see it, of course. But not me. Not now. Not ever.

Pesky kids not listening to experts on swine flu shot

Aw, poor big pharma, they only want to help with their cocktails of aluminium, mercury, embalming fluid, bits of animal dna, rna and viruses (more commonly known as 'vaccinations'), but those pesky youngsters don't want to take their medicine. Apparently, they've been getting their information elsewhere than the approved sources, such as the Independent.

I can't help thinking that the arrest and threatened deportation of Katia Zatuliveter is just another publicity stunt aimed at restarting the Cold War.

Labour MP Chris Bryant's comments I find dripping self-righteous hypocrisy. He refers twice to 'the Russian invasion of Georgia', as if the Russians started that little shoot-em-up, and lays it on double thick about the evil Rooskies. Yeah, like we're the fucking good guys. Fuck off.

Wikileaks: a pinch of salt required

Wikileaks has done some great work to put into the public domain a huge amount of information that the governments of the world would rather keep secret. I greet the various pronouncements of outrage from politicians with schadenfreude.

Nevertheless, we should not allow ourselves to be manipulated. There are many competing agendas within the murky world of diplomats and spooks. If a few renowned political figures get egg on their face, so what? As Bastiat noted, there is what is seen and what is unseen, and the latter is here more important.

L. Fletcher Prouty talked about the Pentagon Papers, and how it was presented and interpreted quite at variance to the reality. He said you had to have worked in intelligence to understand how compartmentalised everything is, and how, like an onion, there are many layers.

When the political right confront the left in debate, the arguments of the former usually boil down to a simple underlying idea: that the left's "grand projects" of social change are incompatible with human nature. Those on the left, in this view, do not understand – or cannot bring themselves to accept – the grim reality in relation to the fundamental determinants of human behaviour. Human beings are essentially selfish, greedy, competitive, individualistic and generally unpleasant. This nature, furthermore, is fixed and immutable.

Gaaahhh! You fucking twat! No more, no more...

Rather conveniently, we happen to live in the kind of social order that is most in tune with our natural inclinations – a capitalist free market economy. In fact, for conservatives, capitalism is not really a discrete "system" at all; it is simply the natural and spontaneous state of things.

That's it. Enough. There may be some acorn of insight further down, but I'm not burrowing into shit to find it.

Maybe I will read on, but only through my own perversity or twisted sense of duty. See if you can do better.

The normalisation of torture

I have a great many misgivings about games such as 'Call of Duty', the most up-to-date version of which includes torture. Although players are very unlikely to imitate in real life their exploits in this virtual world, I am sure it has an effect of desensitising the participant to violence, which is not at all healthy. These games seem to carry a propaganda message of a particularly brutal, nihilistic kind.

Besides that, haven't you all got something better to be doing with your time? You could read a book on Austrian economics, or start a blog... something useful (shut up!).

Conspiracy theorists in many ways resemble the Sawney Bean family. Don't be like them!

Do you trust the government always and in every way? Are you aware that no government has ever lied, or hidden the truth from the people? Do you rest assured that politicians, police or other 'public servants' are in fact incapable of committing crimes?

I'm sure all my readers will be able to answer with a resounding Harry-met-Sally-esque 'Yes! Yes! Yes!', because round here, we know the government, indeed everyone in the state from the lowliest postie to our most exalted Ministers, all love us, and want only the best for us. Their wisdom may not be perfect or infallible, but it's close enough! Right, everyone?

If, however, you have answered 'no' to any of these questions, I'm afraid I must ask you to turn yourself into the authorities immediately. You are an extremist, if not already a terrorist then likely to become one in the future. You are probably insane, and certainly a danger to yourself and others. Please, for pity's sake, go directly to the police and demand to be incarcerated and lobotomised. Do not speak to anyone, you may contaminate them too. If you know of anyone else who would answer 'no', denounce them.

For the rest of us, we must be vigilant. Conspiracy theorists are all around, spreading lies, the poison of distrust. Take steps to protect your loving state. If you meet anyone asking questions, ridicule them. Don't be ensnared by their 'evidence' - it will be lies. If you have any history books, burn them, take no chances. Most importantly, try not to think. The government doesn't need you to think, only obey and believe.

Doctor Who before he learned to hate guns

Taking a small step to reduce my ever-growing book mountain, I gave a load of old Doctor Who books to my friend's kid, who's a fan of the show, including the above number, with my favourite Doctor, Tom Baker. My young friend was most surprised to see the Doctor carrying a firearm on the cover of this and other stories. Apparently since I was a child, the Doctor has developed a hatred of guns; an interesting example of propaganda being inserted into children's television.
