Chain over-reaction

The BBC reports that Obama's liberal drones are swarming all over the organic food chain Whole Foods Market, due to an op-ed piece in the WSJ by its CEO John Mackey on the subject of healthcare. Apparently, some of the store's 'progressive' customers are outraged that Mackey holds an opinion contrary to their own. Thus we read:

'Teacher Carol Kramer had driven from Virginia to take part in the protest. She said, "There are a lot of people out there who really invested in the Whole Foods brand, emotionally and financially. We are feeling really betrayed."'

Finding this curious, I tracked down the article, and can't understand what all the fuss is about. He agrees that reform is necessary, but doesn't support the current proposals, and instead makes a number of suggestions which seem quite reasonable. I can only surmise that Obama's supporters are becoming ever more deranged and ever less capable of engaging in rational debate.

He calls for deregulation! Don't you know that's code for "let the plutocrats enslave and/or poison us all"?

Firstly he didn't say 'let plutocrats enslave and/or poison us all.

Secondly if it's plutocrats you're concerned about, you need to look over Pres Obama's shoulder.

Thirdly with regard to Obama's proposals (all 1300 pages of them) where exactly is it stated in the US Constitution that this is an area where the Federal government has responsibility?
