I'm not exactly hot off the mark with this, having been made aware of it only through Steve Baker's discussion of it at the Libertarian Alliance conference in October. Douglas Carswell is to be heartily commended for bringing forward this bill. It must be the first time the term 'sound money' has been heard in that desolate place for many a moon.
