Shuffling along

Still in a lazy blogging phase, but I wouldn't want visitors to be totally bereft of novelty, so here's Dollar Brand / Abdullah Ibrahim playing in Montreux 1980.

beautiful tune, man. I was inspired to pull out my one Dollar LP - Soweto, from the same period and vibe.

Anyways, I do think a pint is overdue. How about the week after this? I'm working this week but the week after is a goer. The usual, or maybe the Black Horse or Blue Posts on Newman street -this is my new fave, coz it is a gentleman's pub, where the discerning gentleman can imbibe and discuss the issues of the day without being deafened by the latest beat combos on the 'jukebox' machine.

I see myself more as a sufferable bourgeois wannabe...

Sounds good. I'm not sure about the riding crop, but I'll try to bring the book I borrowed a long time ago.

and, er, maybe see you too James?
