This is a question which these businessmen pondered during the LA riots of some years ago. I think they're on to something. Of course, ordinary citizens in this country are disarmed, so looters need not fear getting their just desserts.

Thank goodness London is'nt
really England.
Hopefully the rioters save some fun for the Olympics.
Anyway who gives a toss for cesspits like North East London
Northmen
This would be considered abuse of the right to bear arms. If people are present but not actively attacking you, you can't shoot at them. The gun shots were probably drawing a bit of attention, don't you think? So don't shoot every person that comes into view.
The whole of London is a cess pit, when the present incumbents have reduced it to a simile of the countries from whence they fled, get tired, and fuck off back to the now better homeland, we will take it back and lovingly make it, once more, England's capital city.
Anon 1,
that's easy for you to say. This shit's happening at walking distance from me.
LPA,
you may have a point, but shooting looters is a public service as far as I'm concerned, and I'm only sorry that ain't gonna happen.
The tragic disarming of law abiding people has left them defenceless in the face of criminals. The fact that the police are clearly overwhelmed and not able to answer and respond to 999 calls in a timely manner surely shows our absolute right to self-protection. How many stores would be burned down if the shopkeepers were on the roofs with guns? Zero.
