Brown announces end of democracy

Gordon Brown sets forth the New World Order's plans in the most detail yet. Even the illusion of democratic control is to be abolished, as power is handed to a 'global authority'.

New Labour internet clampdown

"In summary, Carter has proposed a new tax, a new quango, and lots of administrative burdens designed to change behaviour. Not a word about new services which capture value from our existing behaviour, or return these to creators and investors in talent. It sees the world primarily as an administrative challenge. For the modern politician, "the vision thing" consists merely of aligning the bureaucracy with a topical issue."

Andrew Orlowski, writing in The Register on Lord Carter's Digital Britain review.

The fall of a tyrant

Yesterday marked the 359th anniversary of a momentous event - the execution of the tyrant king Charles I of England, AKA 'that man of blood', who plunged his country into civil war not once but twice. Sadly, as Milton laments in 'Paradise Lost', the English Commonwealth was not to endure, and just as Caesar's removal by Brutus and Cassius did not save the Roman Republic, but merely paved the way for dictators far worse than Julius, the English were soon to back under the yoke of monarchy.

Nevertheless, let the execution stand witness that even the high and mighty get what's coming to them sometimes.

Scotland Yard's new master

I learn my city, London, has a new Police Chief - Sir Paul Stephenson. Here's a radical idea; how about the people of London deciding for themselves who's gonna be their Police Chief?

It's called democracy. This country should try it sometime.

"Insult of the State, Nation or State symbols"

In solidarity with Guthrum and the many libertarian bloggers who are railing against the EU's new database, I am making myself complicit in the heinous 'crime' of insulting the symbol of the EU, which ain't a state, but sure would like to be.

Police admit anti-terrorist stop-and-search nothing to do with terrorism

...In fact it's to 'reassure the public'! What the fuck!

Speaking as a member of the public, I am not reassured by police having draconian powers to violate my privacy with no warrant nor even a reasonable suspicion. What despicable double-think. According to new guidance, Mr Plod should:

"Reassure the individual that the stop is a routine part of counter-terrorist policing and it is a preventative power proven to help make London safer from a terrorist attack".

Err... when was this proven? When have they ever caught a terrorist by random searches? Are we supposed to believe that the crazed suicide suicide squads have hung up their dynamite vests for fear of being searched?

As with all the so-called anti-terror laws, we the public are the target. The message is incessant: 'Do what you're told. Habituate yourself to having your rights violated. Trust your leaders. Shut up! Be happy!"

Obama blooded

Lord Obama has wasted no time in passing his rite of passage. Now he can look his fellow 'world leaders' in the eye. The Obama bodycount begins.

Labour tyranny part 94

It's impossible to keep up with the ever-growing mountain of tyrannical laws being enacted by the British government, such as its plans for secret inquests (presumably to avoid embarrassing publicity when agents of the state shoot innocent people in the head eight times etc). As usual, the government claims there will be "safeguards", no doubt also operating behind the curtain. The tories, our valiant opposition (as if!) talk a good fight, with Dominic Grieve referring to a"seismic change in the relationship between the state and the citizen" with "enormous" implications for civil liberties - but don't expect them to do anything about it. They know once they're in power how useful to them such laws could be.

Also part of the same bill is more power to the state to pass our personal information about. Laughably and predictably Herr Straw claims this will benefit bereaved families. There's always a good intention on the road to Orwellian hell.

Elsewhere, the politicos are allowed to opt themselves out of their new stasi-style child database, for 'security reasons'. Needless to say they don't give a fuck about the security of the rest of us.

Gordon Brown sucks NWO cock yet again

Gordon Brown has again hailed the New World Order, perhaps in an increasingly desperate attempt to keep his job. However, most likely his Bilderberg bosses feel the Labour pony has carried them as far as it will, and will be happy to let it collapse and expire in a stinking pool of sleaze, filth and failure. It is of no concern to the oligarchy, which has the faithful tories to carry the torch forward.

Sieg Heil Obama

Fuck Obama and his brain-washed worshippers. You fucking dupes!

Naivity is touching in little children. In adults, it's positively dangerous.

Hear what these nazi scum say, as they pledge to be servants of Obama (that's a direct quote).

Where the fuck do they find these judges?

In about four years from now, the men who committed this foul crime will be free again. Some of them will be free in less than three years.

Makes you wonder what the fuck is the point prosecuting them at all.

Quotes from the 'father of the war on drugs'

After watching Barry Cooper's speech (below), I googled Harry J. Anslinger to find the quote Barry cites. Judge for yourself; if the reasoning of Anslinger is questionable (not to say racist and contradictory), then the policy based on the reasoning is likewise questionable.

From Drug War Rant's article entitled 'why is marijuana illegal?'

"Anslinger was an extremely ambitious man, and he recognized the Bureau of Narcotics as an amazing career opportunity -- a new government agency with the opportunity to define both the problem and the solution. He immediately realized that opiates and cocaine wouldn't be enough to help build his agency, so he latched on to marijuana and started to work on making it illegal at the federal level.

Anslinger immediately drew upon the themes of racism and violence to draw national attention to the problem he wanted to create. He also promoted and frequently read from "Gore Files" -- wild reefer-madness-style exploitation tales of ax murderers on marijuana and sex and... Negroes. Here are some quotes that have been widely attributed to Anslinger and his Gore Files:

"There are 100,000 total marijuana smokers in the US, and most are Negroes, Hispanics, Filipinos, and entertainers. Their Satanic music, jazz, and swing, result from marijuana use. This marijuana causes white women to seek sexual relations with Negroes, entertainers, and any others."

"...the primary reason to outlaw marijuana is its effect on the degenerate races."

"Marijuana is an addictive drug which produces in its users insanity, criminality, and death."

"Reefer makes darkies think they're as good as white men."

"Marihuana leads to pacifism and communist brainwashing"

"You smoke a joint and you're likely to kill your brother."

"Marijuana is the most violence-causing drug in the history of mankind."

A sinner repenteth

Via the peerless Alex Jones Radio Show, I come across Barry Cooper, ex-cop, now campaigner against America's unconscionable drug laws and producer of the documentary series 'Never get busted again'.

Here's an excerpt from a speech he gave at the University of North Texas:

Here's an excerpt from 'Never get raided':

The 'ugly future' of the scientific dictatorship

"The tendency of the state to seek ever more powers of surveillance over its citizens may be driven by protective zeal. But the notion of total security is a paranoid fantasy which would destroy everything that makes living worthwhile. We must avoid surrendering our freedom as autonomous human beings to such an ugly future. We should make judgments that are compatible with our status as free people.

This database would be an unimaginable hell-house of personal private information. It would be a complete readout of every citizen's life in the most intimate and demeaning detail. No government of any colour is to be trusted with such a roadmap to our souls"

Sir Keith McDonald, former Director of Public Prosecutions, commenting on the UK regime's planned über-database, which will be run by a private corporation at an estimated cost of
£12,000,000,000.

More crazy tyranny from Fascist Labour

Via Old Holborn I see more rampant fascism from the current British regime, quietly introducing new surveillance powers. Zieg heil, you fucking pricks.

Campaigners my arse

A neologism of 2008, at least as far as I know, was 'to misspeak', a euphemism for 'to lie through one's teeth'. So I will say the Times misspoke in describing as 'campaigners' the UK Commission for Integrated Transport and it's congenital sibling the Motorists Forum, which are calling for cars to be fitted with automatic speed restrictors and tracking devices, in order to improve safety and - wait for it - save the planet from global warming.

Naturally - as a lover of liberty - the idea of having a satellite tracking device which controls the speed of my vehicle is about as welcome as a burglar shitting in my bed.

As usual, the government has set up 'independent' advisory bodies, full of stuffed shirts, who dutifully go about their business of kite-flying the control freaks' crazier ideas, to create the impression that ordinary people are banding together to call for such things. They are not independent of government, but the creatures of government. They represent not the public, but the cozy, inside world of the quangocratic state. The only motoring organisation I know of which represents my views is headed by Captain Gatso.

This report claims that in their tests, the users liked the devices, and believed it improved their driving, but (important but) who the fuck are these users? What kind of cunt would agree to take part in such a test?

The standard MO dictates that the devices would be voluntary - TO BEGIN WITH. Then they'd be compulsory, perhaps starting with beginner drivers, or perhaps the insurance companies would begin to demand them, and soon enough you'd have drivers who couldn't even imagine driving without the system in place, like those tossers who pass the driving test in an automatic finding themselves in a car with a manual gearbox.

To make myself clear, I do not like dangerous drivers, but the idea that driving faster than an arbitrary speed limit is automatically dangerous is as absurd as the idea that driving within a speed limit is automatically safe. The primary reason for the confreakist obsession with speed is that it can be easily measured.
