Peter Schiff is a devotee of the Austrain school and I have to say, his book "How an economy grows and why it crashes" is one of the most concise texts I have read on the subject.
I haven't read that one, but I'm sure I'll get to it in due course.
He's certainly one of the top exponents of Austrian (AKA proper) economics.
